Plank 1A great core strengthening exercise.Place your elbows and toes on the floor and brace yourself so that you have a straight line running from your ankles, through your hips to your shoulders. Keep a tight core and focus on your breathing, in through the nose and out through the mouth, as you hold the position.

To increase the difficulty, raise your right arm and left leg off the floor. Hold and then swap sides.
