South Moreton Boxing Club

We will be having a Premier for the DVD of the Rumble at The Regal. The back room of The Bear is booked and we will be laying on some food. A great chance to re-live a classic night, or see it for the first time! All club members and friends welcome, screening kicks off at 6pm.

The club has a table of 10 booked for an evening with Joe Calzaghe at The Premier Club in Swindon on 28th April. Ticket price of £65 per person includes 3 course meal, photo opportunity with Joe, raffle and auction. Richie Woodhall will also be speaking. Minibus will leave from the club at 6pm, let me know if you want a ticket.

Congratulations to everyone who took part in The Rumble at The Regal on 31st March. A sell-out crowd and a fantastic atmosphere helped make the night one to remember, together with some great boxing. Special congratulations to Stuart “Gunslinger” Wilson for winning the Boxer of the Night Award and Kev “Feel The Burn” Hearn and Stevie “Braveheart” Kelly who got the Fight of the Night Award. We’ll be back at The Regal on December 8th, Rumble II, The Christmas Bash!

The Shop launches on the site today! As a reflection of the physical
shop at the club, we will be selling only the best boxing gear and
club merchandise through it, including tickets for upcoming events.

We will be growing the portfolio of stock as we go, and please let us
know if there are any boxing or fitness products you would like to see
us retailing.

From Monday the 5th of Feb the club will be open the new full-time hours (7am - 9pm Monday - Friday and 7am - 4pm Saturday.) New squads and equipment etc. will be coming in over the next few weeks and months.

I just need to say congratulations to our own Stevie ‘Braveheart’ Kelly who boxed a great fight last Friday in London on a Real Fight Club show. Stevie came out a clear winner over three hard fought two minute rounds in what was the fight of the night.
