Lapel Closed Guard to Squid Guard Back Sweep

The final attack I use from the Lapel Closed Guard is going back to the Squid Guard.

This happens when your opponent stands up so you go back to the squid guard.

Here is the plan

Micro Drill #1: Lapel Closed Guard Set Up ( 1 min ea)

Technical Drill #1: Lapel Closed Guard to squid guard

Specific Training #1: Lapel Closed Guard (reset if opponent escapes or you sweep or submit them, 3 min ea)

Over the course of this week, we’ve looked at a bunch of different attacks from the Lapel Closed Guard.
